The residue of modernity

The modern city seems volatile at first, she doesn’t ask for stagnation. She’s rather designed to easily and efficient lead us trough the streets. A tendency that is also to be found in the organization of our life, in which inactivity and contemplation slowly flees our conscious. Because of this overload of stimulus the focus of our attention becomes more and more fragmented. I would like to go against this by paying attention to this seemingly superficial space. This causes an unknown world to arise, which freezes the modernity. What usually is instantly recognizable and unambiguously interpretable, now forms an image that appeals for enduring attention and stimulates the imagination.
